Privacy policy
This policy explains what MilesQuote collects, why, and what we will never ask for.
What we collect
When you submit a quote request we collect the details you provide: the programme, the approximate amount of miles or points, your name, email address, country of residence, timeline and any notes you add. We collect standard server and analytics information such as pages requested and approximate location derived from your IP address.
What we never ask for
We never ask for frequent-flyer passwords, account PINs, security answers or one-time codes, and we never ask for full payment card numbers by email. Any message claiming to be from MilesQuote and requesting those things is not from us.
Why we use it
To assess your request, prepare an indicative response, reply to you, and keep records of the enquiries we have handled. We also use aggregate analytics to understand which research pages are useful.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the site and respond to enquiries, and where we are legally required to do so.
Retention
We keep quote request records for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and to meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to it. Email hello@milesquote.com and we will respond.
Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary to operate the site and to measure aggregate usage. We do not run cross-site advertising trackers.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be described here rather than applied silently.
