Buy miles

Buy airline miles

Buying miles is worth doing when the total cost of an award — miles plus surcharges — is clearly below the cash fare you would otherwise pay. Tell us the shortfall and we will assess it honestly.

Before you request a buy quote

  1. 1Confirm the award firstCheck that the seat, date and cabin are actually available and note the exact mileage price the programme shows.
  2. 2Check the airline's own priceMost programmes sell miles directly, often with bonus promotions. That price is the benchmark any quote has to beat.
  3. 3Add the surchargesCarrier-imposed charges and taxes are part of the cost. A cheap award in miles can be an expensive ticket in cash.
  4. 4Compare with cashIf the saving is under roughly ten per cent, paying cash usually wins on flexibility, protection and earning.

No rates are published and nothing here is a guaranteed price. Tell us the specifics and we will respond with an indicative figure or an honest explanation of why we cannot quote.

We never ask for account passwords, PINs or one-time codes.

Buying miles: common questions

Do you publish a price per mile?
No. Pricing depends on the programme, the amount and the timing, so a fixed public rate would be misleading. We prepare each quote individually.
Should I buy from the airline instead?
Often yes, especially during a bonus promotion. We treat the airline's own purchase price as the benchmark and will tell you when it is the better route.
Is buying miles risky?
Programme terms govern your account and restrict transfers in many cases. We never ask you to breach them, and we never guarantee an outcome.
How quickly will I hear back?
We aim to respond within one business day when a request includes the programme, amount and timeline.
